Biographical Information

Dragan Milenkovic is also known as Tio Dragan, "tio" in Spanish means friend. Ambassador Milenkovic was born in Cuprija, Yugoslavia (today Serbia) near Velika Morava, where he finished elementary and high school. After two unsuccessful attempts to enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts, he studied geography and until going abroad. He is currently studying online in Spain production to be a professional film director. When he went to Tenerife in the Canary Islands Archipelago he decided he would stay there and make it his home. As for his creative work, he has written and composed since he was a child, when he was much younger he published three collections of poems for the national book edition and one short novel.

He also made a CD when he was younger which was marketed by Copernicus, and recently tried out as an actor, in a very short appearance alongside Dragan Jovanovic. In Tenerife he has been quite successful in music in addition to other things in both the Spanish and Serbian languages. Among his friends 'Tio' is his moniker, an anecdote, which is partly true in nearly everything he does today as he has become well-known as everyone's friend in his new Spanish home off the coast of Africa.

While he was in Vienna, he turned the globe with his hand and stuck his finger in the place where he would spend the rest of his life, the Canary Islands. Tio Dragan released his first album in 2015 for BR: Enter Music.
